Description:

Director of Federal Tax is responsible for federal and foreign compliance, including the consolidated federal tax filings as well as the IRS Compliance Assurance Process ("CAP"). Provides daily tax advice, as well as technical and modeling assistance in special projects. Responsibilities encompass the following areas of taxation: corporate, consolidate return rules, partnership, international, employment-related taxes and taxation of financial instruments.

Requirements:
|
Candidate must be a seasoned, self-starter and experienced hands-on Tax Professional with a minimum of 12-15 years tax experience, including accounting firm AND in-house corporate. Must be skilled in federal tax principles and possess a working knowledge of corporate tax laws, consolidated return rules, partnership taxation, international taxation, employment-related taxes, taxation of financial instruments and Accounting for Income Taxes. CPA and Masters in Taxation required. JD not required, but preferred. Must have transactional and IRS audit experience. Candidate will possess leadership skills. Excellent Research, Writing, Communication and Advanced excel spreadsheet abilities required. Candidate must have a proven ability to service multiple clients, businesses or subsidiaries.
