Diamond Offshore’s high specification semisubmersible rigs are generally capable of working in water depths of 4,000 feet or greater, while its intermediate semisubmersible rigs generally work in maximum water depths up to 3,999 feet. Jack-up rigs are used for drilling in water depths from 20 to 350 feet.
