HighMount Exploration & Production LLC, (wholly owned) is engaged in exploration and production of natural gas. HighMount commenced operations as a Loews subsidiary on July 31, 2007. HighMount's primary properties are located in the Permian Basin in Texas, the Antrim Shale in Michigan and the Black Warrior Basin in Alabama.
